Are you finding life unbearably sad? Are you feeling lonely, depressed or anxious? Perhaps you are experiencing intrusive thoughts. Or feeling stuck in a rut.
We all have times in our lives when it all just becomes too much. Times when we struggle to cope and feel overwhelmed. Counselling can help us to process our thoughts and feelings; it can help us make sense of the world and where we fit into it.
I will provide you with a safe, confidential space to share anything that may be having an impact on your life; a space to talk through any problems or difficult feelings you may be having.
Face to face sessions are held in Fore Street, Hertford.
As this is not always convenient for everyone, I also offer online counselling via Zoom
My name is Mia Turner. I am an integrative counsellor which means that I may use techniques from different types of therapy to tailor the approach that works for you. I see all my clients as individuals with different experiences and understand that what works for one person might not work for another.
What is most important, is that our relationship will be at the heart of how we work together to help you work through the issues you bring.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) and I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework.
I work with clients suffering from the impact of trauma, grief, anxiety and depression; with those who have suffered mental, physical or sexual abuse, or are living with bereavement. I help people with low self-esteem, and those who are suffering from work or family-related problems.
Alongside my private work, I also work as a counsellor for children & young people at a Domestic Abuse charity.
